"Stayed one night in October 2026 - looking for a place to lay our heads after a flight. Shuttle was perfect - quick and easy - joining instructions were not readily available on Expedia or sent to us but received them quickly through an email inquiry with the hotel directly. Property was newer, clean with good king bed and good shower. Staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. Very limited amenities around the property - restaurant in hotel and across the parking lot at the Holiday Inn - nothing else in walking distance. We landed on Thanksgiving so all understandably closed early (9pm) - ‘Skipped the Dishes’. Would stay here again if the price point was right."

"Great location. Across the street from the bus stop that brings you from the airport. The Scotia Centre, is also across the street and has a food court if you want to bring a bite back to your room. There is a car rental place across the street too. I’d definitely stay here again next trip to Halifax."

"My brother and I stayed here for our trip to the Maritimes. We booked here for the beginning of our road trip, and then at the end as well after touring around the Maritimes. Staff was friendly, the room has plenty of space and was very clean, and the restaurant was actually QUITE good, and I actually had one of my favourite meals there of our entire trip! I would totally recommend booking here as long as you don't mind being a little drive out of the downtown Halifax area. (it is RIGHT off the highway as well, so easy access to everywhere). And there is a Starbucks next door!"
Hearthstone Inn Boutique Hotel Halifax - Dartmouth

"The facilities at Hearthstone Inn Boutique Hotel are a bit dated, but the room rates are reasonable and include a simple breakfast. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and we especially enjoyed taking walks along the river near the hotel."
