"We stayed at Majada alta for 2 weeks with 1 teenager and a 4y.o and we absolutely LOVED it! Every aspect/window of the cottage has an absolutely stunning view. We were frequently visited by the wild mountain goats whenever they needed a drink from the pool - it was such a wholesome experience. The pool was a lifesaver in the intense Andalucia summer heat! Large size and regularly cleaned and maintained. The cottage was fully equipped with pretty much everything you need. A/C worked really well in the rooms (thank the heavens!) and local village has all the essentials we needed. The roads in the village and leading up to the cottage are not for the faint-hearted especially if you haven't driven on those roads before - so just drive slow at first but you soon get used to it. Caminito del rey is just a 10min drive away and lots of other villages nearby to drive to and appreciate the views of the stunning local landscape.. Colin and Francesca were brilliant hosts, from prompt replies and being on hand for any advice we needed and even took the time to show us around- such lovely people! Definitely a memorable experience for us, and would love to come back again one day. Massive thanks to Colin and Francesca. What a magical place this is!"
