"The place was quite & cozy and the hot tub was amazing. There were games & books. They really thought if everything. I wish the toaster oven & grill was cleaned prior to our arrival. Pleaae make sure u have a true 4x4 Vehicle and arrive in the daytime...no real roads just or traditional signs just sand dunes everywhere.But I enjoyed being slightly off the grid for a weekend."

"Absolutely loved this house. Probably one of my favorite vrbo's we have ever stayed at. It was quiet and relaxing in fact we didnt see anyone all week but the horse guides drivong around. Didnt have much luck catching any fish. Most evenings or mornings the horses would be all around the house. The house was super clean for a house located in a sandy area. Hadno issues at all driving up and down the beach. Would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a chill, relaxing, quiet vacation. "

"Our stay was amazing!! The house was fully equipped with everything that you can think of. Two different kinds of grills. The kitchen had everything for all sorts of things you may need. The bed was comfortable. The dock was great for paddle boarding. The top level of the house was the best! We saw tons of horses all around the property almost every day during our one week trip. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything! He even let us take our dog to his other home to play fetch in the canal since it had a small walk out onto the water. I can go on and on about how wonderful our trip was! I would highly recommend this house to a couple and/or family."

"We had a fantastic stay. We had everything we needed for cooking meals. Yes, it’s remote, but it’s very peaceful and quiet. We wanted to get away from it all with the family, and we spent hours at both the beach (short walk) and playing in the pool. The home is very clean. We saw horses everyday but one. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Would highly recommend! "

"This was our first experience with renting a house. The house was exactly how it was described. It was comfortable, had everything we needed and more! When we first arrived we were greeted by 5 of the wild horses including a baby grazing in the yard. We ate breakfasts outsude on the deck after driving to the beach(3 minutes) to watch the sunrise. Dinner on the deck every evening amidst the live oaks was great. It was quiet and a relaxing escape from the crazy life we have at home Melissa has beach chairs and tents and even some boogie boards. Having a keurig was a bonus, washing machine and dryer came in great use. Everything was new and clean. The beach was clean and not crowded. 4x4 truck or jeep is a must and the beach road is incredible and intense all at once! Melissa was responsive and our stay was without any issues. We are looking forward to staying again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! "

"The Carte’s were extremely pleased with our stay for the 2025 Labor Day holiday. The house was amazing, clean and Phil was extremely helpful with answering our questions about the area. The best part of our trip was by far the wild horses and the seclusion of the Rusty Crab. We recommend booking a visit at this house and giving it a 10 out of 10!!!"
