"The host, John, is a great communicator. The house is very well stocked and set up. The beach was so close and we loved the bay and Cape Henlopen State Park. The screened in porch was pretty and relaxing and the outdoor shower was great. This was our first trip to Lewes and we didn’t get to spend time in the town but it looked very charming. We bought wonderful fresh bread and cold cuts and Lloyd’s market. A lovely visit. "

"The location of the house is perfect for walking into downtown Lewes (.5 mile away), getting to the beach (short walk across parking lot), and grabbing some ice cream at the Dairy Queen just around the corner. Beautiful sunsets can be seen from the decks. The elevator is quite handy when moving into and out of the house. For this of you that are members of the American Legion, there is a wonderful post located just a couple blocks away with very welcoming and friendly members!"
"We have been coming to this area (Slaughter Beach, Broadkill Beach, Cape Henopen, Lewes Beach) for about 15 years now. Hands down, this place was our favorite! We loved being able to walk over the bridge to restaurants, shops, and ice cream. My husband was super close to walk to bait store. The pool was awesome and the view from pool and patio amazing! The apt was recently updated. We loved hanging outside on patio. Neighbors were super friendly. We hope to return! Oh, and Andrea was super accommodating with our check in!"

"Everything was exactly what we were looking for from the location to the house! We absolutely loved the convenience of being right around the corner from the restaurants, fun running routes from the house, and biking down to Cape Henlopen. The beach was a quick walk too. "

"We stayed with our older kids and small dogs, this property was perfect. The dogs loved the fenced in side yard and I appreciated I could park my car and not move it all day. Walking distance to main attractions and about a 15-20 min walk to the beach. As others had said the driveway is very narrow and with parking on both sides of the street I could not get my Grand Cherokee L into the driveway. But it was never an issue because there is ample parking on the street. "
