"Only complaint was the coffee … lol. Honestly, the place is fabulous and would stay here again anytime. They do need to get better coffee in the breakfast area, but otherwise this is your perfect hotel! A little hard to find as it’s behind other buildings. The staff couldn’t be nicer, professional, and friendly. The lobby is beautiful and the rooms are immaculate and comfortable! "

"The Hotel is beautiful, room comfortable. The only bad thing I can say is that the Hotel should set up hours limit for noise. I stayed on the 1st room left side front desk on the 1st floor. On Saturday It was like 20 people on the lobby like celebrating a birthday, talking loudly, screaming until 3:00 a.m. So, I was not able to sleep until that time. Horrible!"

"House is great--great location and wonderful space in a nicely renovated older home. As you might find in older homes, the stairs are very steep and narrow which might be difficult to navigate with individuals with mobility issues. Looking forward to returning in the warmer months when we can use the porch and outdoor space. "

"All went well after some trouble figuring out the heating. Home wasn't winterized when we arrived on a 40 deg day. It was 51 deg inside and furnace and baseboard heating weren't working. Spoke w property mgr who was making efforts for tech to come but we couldn't wait as it was freezing. Bought 4 space heaters for our use. After a lot of trouble shooting on our own, checked the main elec panel and found to our surprise that all the breakers to heating system were in off position. Got the baseboard heaters working but furnace never started. Space heaters were adequate to keep the upstairs reasonably warm. No one was ableTo come thru our stay and we made do. Nice stay overall other than the heating issue. We may have been the first winter renter and they hadn't winterized the home prior. Listing agent said our expenses will be reimbursed as well as some compensation for our lost day. Sounds legit but I'm still waiting for word from accounting, 20 days later. "

"The company you recommended to rent the towels and linen from were expensive and unreliable. I had to cancel the order because we found out the delivery would take 3 days, ridiculous for a local company, this made the service unnecessary. Therefore, we had to find a store to buy towels so we could bathe!!! If one decides to cancel their order from Shore Easy Linen rental company, their policy is to reimburse you by check within 4 weeks! I had to file a dispute through my credit card company to ensure reimbursement.Bottom line I would NOT rent from this owner again. I felt unwelcome: 1) no linen or towels2) could not depend on using the elevator to get my 90 y/o aunt & disabled vet up/down 3 flights of stairs daily.3)There was a hand written sign, "Renters cover the expense of elevator repairs", is telling enough. None of this was noted in the pictures or rental agreement. They should have insurance to cover those general use repairs. Actually, I felt like we would have to pay for anything in the house that broke from general use: dishwasher, refrigerator, heaters, etc.Here are a few pictures from the property that should give you a rethink of how you manage your property and provide better customer service."

"The house was comfortable, well-equipped, and thoughtfully decorated. The garden was well designed and much enjoyed by our group on the unexpected 70F late November day. The location of the house made for easy walks around town to the grocery store, shops and restaurants, the post office, and the beach. It was the perfect "home base" for a few days in Lewes. We're already looking forward to our next stay!"
