"Room and ensuite was clean, bed was comfortable and heating good. Parking outside our room was very tight. The track leading up to the property did not have a proper sign pointing to turn in. Just a hand written one leaning against a post which we missed in the dark. When we drove up to the main building there was no sign pointing where to go in for reception. We stayed two nights but when we had our breakfast we had nothing to wash our plates with , no cloth, brush, tea towel etc and had to do them in the bathroom sink. They need to put in a shelf for the toaster and kettle as they just sat them on top of the microwave. We were comfortable here but there just needs to be a few small extras for a better stay."

"Totally immaculate! Beautifully presented with lovely white sheets, pillow slips and towelling. Not a mark anywhere. Gorgeous gardens, plenty of convenient parking spaces. The property is listed as a " motel" but that doesn't do justice to it. Built around an historic home, it's way more than that. We will stay here again."

"We loved our second stay here. Location is fantastic and property is set on large garden wit plenty of birds. Kitchen fully equipped for self catering. My only complaint was that the spa was not functioning fully and I was only advised 2 days prior which was too late to find other accommodation."
