It may not have the best high floor type views in town but you will be staying in a Hotel frequented by the likes of Gregory Peck, Katharine Hepburn, Omar Sharif, Richard Branson, Mohamed Ali, Lauren Bacall, HRH Prince’s and Princesses, Prime Ministers etc -and it shows in the classic quite large older style rooms with floor to ceiling sweeping drapes in the rooms and with beautiful public areas to add a nice touch. It’s generally well appointed with all the extras you would expect from a upmarket Hotel. Great for a couple of nights or so if you want a classic older style retreat in the Paris style end of town near Parliament."
