"This is an old property in a scenic village in the Catalan countryside which has been converted into a luxury hostal, with spacious and well-fitted suites. No amenities on site but there are several good eateries with 5 minutes walk. A nice place for exploring the area from Figueres to Cadaques. "

HSBC contacted me regarding fraud attempts and blocked my card.But even worse than that the female on reception was aggressive and shouted non stop."

"The check in was very easy and receptionist friendly. Room was basic but clean and a/c good. The hotel is on the main road, but room was quiet and slept well. There was parking available in front of the hotel on the service road"

"First of all the property is beautiful and tranquil, one could just sit outside and be at peace all day. The pool is wonderful and the house is filled with comfort and character. Most importantly, Steve, his family and his neighbors are amazing. They are so kind and willing to help at any given moment. They let us know places we should go and places we should eat and not one place let us down. They really treated us like family and made our vacation so memorable. I would highly recommend staying here. We look forward to returning. "

"Our group of 10 had a fantastic holiday last week in Sorède. The outdoor area was great, the pool area was super and would be improved further with a few additional sun loungers. We barbecued and ate outside each night and it was great. There’s a large outdoor dining table. The accommodation was very good. 2 good sized and well fitted out shower rooms. 2 kitchen areas which were spacious and well equipped. The cooling floor is good but the bedrooms were warm at night. It’s less effective than air conditioning, it helps to an extent. We’ve suggested additional fans to help with cooling the rooms at night. The rooms on the top floor were particularly warm. We walked to the town each morning to get fresh pastries and bread. Some of the walk is on the road although it’s mostly quiet. We found it a really good walk. The hosts recommended a bakery in Saint André, the next town. That would be more than a walk. There is a good Intermarche with petrol station in Saint André. There are some good but challenging walks from the property into the hills. Take plenty of water, it will be hot! We loved the beach at Argelés Sur Mer. The coastline here is stunning. We would recommend this property and the hosts were very helpful. Maria responded helpfully to any questions that we had both before and after booking and during our stay. "
