"Rented this “compound” as we like to call it for OU graduation! It’s a great area and the houses sleep a lot of people! We did have a flash flooding event with ended up with our sons car being under water up to the bumper! Then he fell into the overflowing drainage culvert and the water was over his head. He was pretty scraped up and freaked out but is ok! It could have been really bad. Do NoT park on the lower part of the property if there is a lot of rain! "

"We were notified about the pool closure. We called to cancel, and they told us that we could use the pool at the Hampton Inn instead. We were so grateful! Most hotels don’t have a solution for pool closures, and when traveling with kids, pools are a big deal! "

"We came here for a girls’ weekend and it was perfect. Enough room to spread out, a fully stocked kitchen, beautiful view of the water, and a super close proximity to Athens and OU. Would definitely recommend! "

"We were in town for a 2 day volleyball tournament. We booked this place because it was reasonably priced and only 10 minutes from Gallipolis and 20 minutes from The Root gym. The only thing that could have been better was warmer weather to sit out on the deck. The cabin was beautiful on the inside, perfect for our quick stay and the beds were super cozy. The hostess and her family are absolutely the sweetest and our homemade breakfast that they delivered was delicious!! We will stay here again next time we are in town!"
