The Manor House
Set in a secluded and preserved oasis of authentic Southern-Italian rustic life, the residence reflects the style of the ancient local farmhouses.
Built in tufo (tuff), a type of lava stone abundantly used in the Campania region throughout the centuries, the Manor house is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The interior is decorated with antique furniture made by local craftsmen offering a warm and enveloping atmosphere.
A large living room on the lower ground of the house gives you direct access to a secluded terrace lounge, ideal for afternoon readings away from the summer heat. On the same level you will also find a fully equipped kitchen, with a stunning 20th century copper sink and an ample marble table. The ground floor is completed by a dining room with a wood extendable oval dining table and a smaller living room, where our family used to gather after dinner for a cozy late night talk around the fireplace.
The Manor house accommodates six guests across three bedrooms, two of which offer direct access to the gardens. You will find 1 bedroom on the first floor while the second floor offers 2 bedrooms, one of which has independent access via an external stone staircase, boasting a private terrace with beautiful views of the surrounding gardens and the Gulf of Napoli.
The Manor house offers Wi-Fi connection, satellite TV and A/C in all bedrooms.
The Guest House
Once the barn of the farmhouse, this traditionally furnished Guesthouse immediately feels homely and has all the amenities a family would need to relax and unwind.
The ground floor is one single open space, divided only by a wooden staircase, which houses a fully equipped kitchen, a crystal dining table and a cozy living room enriched by a stone fireplace.
Heading upstairs on the first floor are two double bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with two singles that can be easily joined together upon previous request. There is a bathroom on each floor.
The Guests house offers Wi-Fi connection, satellite TV and A/C + ceiling fans in all bedrooms.
The Garden
Surrounding the buildings are meticulously maintained gardens presenting a wide array of colorful blossoms, trees and even a small woodland of circa one acre.
The beautiful gardens are most certainly one of the main attractions of the villa and can be seen from indoors through many windows like pretty, framed pictures.
Guests can relax in the sun by the swimming pool, enjoy relaxing times on the hammocks, play in the football and volleyball grass field, or dine al-fresco on the terrace with a stunning view of the Gulf of Napoli, the Vesuvius and the famous island of Capri.
The terrace is one of our family's beloved spots for lunches, dinners or sunset "aperitivi". The outdoor wood-fired oven has cooked hundreds of pizzas throughout the years and we'll be glad to bring you the same experience by arranging a traditional "pizzaiolo" come and cook pizzas for you!
A particular shout-out finally goes to the 60 square meter swimming pool with whirlpool. This is surrounded by English lawn and enclosed by an ancient olive grove. It’s equipped with a solar heated shower, sun-beds and deckchairs, a small table with armchairs and a small dressing room with toilet and mini fridge.
Guests have full access to all the property except for 2 small houses located in the woodland which could be occupied or not during your stay.
