"Sehr schön eingerichtetes Rustico, nördlich von Pisa und Lucca. Anfahrt ca. 11km den Berg hoch etwas abenteuerlich. Und auf Mücken sollte man vorbereitet sein. Ansonsten perfekt für die persönliche Auszeit mit kleinem Budget, aber auch für die Teenie-Gruppenfahrt. Man stört keinen und hat selbst seine Ruhe. Mega Aussicht auf die Bucht von Livorno/Viareggio. "Alberico's house is simply enchanting and so is the hamlet of Ponzanello. You really feel like you're stepping back in time (except you have access to all the modern amenities which is great)! The location is perfect if you have a car, about a hour drive to Cinque Terre, plenty of vineyards and other medieval villages to visit in the surroundings."

"Family and friends gathered at Al Bastini to explore the Lucca region. The Villa was wonderfully appointed and very comfortable. The pool was a big hit with the grandkids and the outdoor wood fired BBQ was used multiple times throughout the week. The owners have a great collection of books that cover Tuscany and Italian cooking. I wish I could have stayed a month so I could sit and read and gaze over the spectacular views. "Very nice house! Beautiful big garden, completely private. The house is big with a bit of a strange layout (like two kitchens) but also two bathrooms. The owners welcomed us very friendly. It was just a bit difficult to communicate: unfortunately we don't speak Italian. The house was difficult to find because the location data (like the GPS coordinates) are in the village and not of the house. The correct data are: 43.939180, 10.416290"
