"The exceptional host " Nasrin" greeted us on arrival, we were early for check in so she kept our bags for us(no charge) then after a explanation of the keys etc told us to go and look around and she would take our bags to the room for us. Perfect for a couple of weary travellers. Nasrin got us extra coffee and even came to our rescue when we couldn't lock our door, only to find it was magnetic and would only lock when we actually closed the door. "A more attentive host will be hard to find. Elise took care of every request. Constantly on premises making sure your stay is comfortable. Walkable to the train station and the ferry port. Host has several rooms on the main floor of an apartment building. The rooms are segmented from the rest of the building so you will have no interaction with any of those tenants. Room was spotless with adequate space to move around. A/C worked well and room has a mini fridge stocked with a couple of bottles...

"We had issues contacting someone to get checked in but once we were in, the room was clean with the promised amenities. I will say the cups they provide for the tea disintegrate before you can finish your hot beverage so they might want to get some different cups or bring your own. "Beautiful place to stay for my girlfriend and I. Very convenient location from the train station. The bed was comfortable and the whole place was very clean. There was no mini fridge only the mini bar which could only fit one bottle of wine. Overall an excellent trip but make sure to pack lightly because the stairs are no joke. "

"DONT BOOK, this place is NOT a hotel nor a bed and breakfast. Not even the taxi driver knew of it existence. No front desk no one to greet you. This is basically an apartment on a regular building and what they did they divided the rooms inside into “private rooms”y mother is handicap and I specially asked about an elevator and they said yes there’s one, what they did not disclosed was that the elevator does NOT stop on their floor and there’s two set of stairs to go up each of 15-20 steps. ...

"I chose this based on proximity to the train station which was a five minute walk. We had two connecting rooms, Both which were sparkling clean. We did have to pay to park our rental car, €30 for only overnight then another €30 for a few extra hours after 10 am. Parking was another five minute walk and behind a locked gate. We didn’t really have a choice in that, but it was worth the money to be near the train station. We were in Riomaggiore in about 20 minutes!"

"Great place to stay. Breakfast was delicious and view from terrace is gorgeous. It is high up on the hill but we learned about an elevator you can take to avoid the stairs with luggage. Service was great and room was small but perfect for what we needed. "
