"Carlos greeted us at the property and ensured we knew where everything was in the residence which was well equipped, very clean and next door to a grocery store. Carlos also recommended a great beach called the American Beach nearby and a fabulous Italian restaurant which I lost the receipt for but the food was excellent and incredibly reasonable. Carlos and Silvana are great hosts and deserving of their rating as Superhosts. Would recommend them to anyone staying in the area. "

"We had an incredible stay at Casa Umbè in Pietrasanta – truly a 10/10 experience. From the start, the hosts Giovanni and Tanja were amazing. They stayed in touch via WhatsApp before and during our stay and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Since taxis are hard to find in the area, they arranged for a friend to pick us up from the train station. "We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was perfect. The location is unbeatable—gorgeous views of the mountains behind us and the beach right in front. The train station was easy to reach with Bit scooters or taxis, so getting around was simple. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive and always tried to help whenever we had questions. Overall, a wonderful experience that we’d happily recommend!"

"Excelente servicio, muy bonito, super bien ubicado y super limpio."

"The hotel is perfectly located within a 2 minute walk of the Leaning Tower, Cathedral, Baptistery and museums. It is a 10 minute walk to the river and a 10 minute walk to Pisa S.Rossi train station. The hotel staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and speak many languages fluently. The room was a good size for a city centre hotel and was very clean. You are given shampoo/body wash and soap in the room so no need to take lots of toiletries however if you prefer proper brands there is a Carre Four supermarket over the road which sells everything you need for you stay. The hotel has a wonderful rooftop terrace. There is only a small area for drinks only but we had Aperitivo 3 times (which you need to book at reception) and it was amazing. The views are to die for. The hotel offers a taxi service to the airport and Pisa Centrale Station which is run by staff at the hotel so you are safe and not being over charged. Overall the hotel offers everything you need for an excellent stay in Pisa. We’re definitely going to be booking again."

"The staff were great particularly the restaurant, pool bar and breakfast staff. Very helpful and accommodating even after being treated badly by a family on another table Parking is so easy and on the premises. Close to the beach and a Sunday market. Only a couple of things made it a 4/5 instead of a 5/5. One was the decor needs some tender loving care particularly in the bathrooms. The room as clean but cheap paintwork is chipping. The food in the restaurant was good but better in the pool side restaurant for lunch. There was not alternative to the restaurant if you just wanted something light. The other thing was the live music festival which sounded like it was next door. Even though we closed our windows it was still loud. We were not told of this beforehand or at check in. The bands sounded as though they were practicing and couldn’t carry a tune. We asked the staff about this festival which is every weekend in Summer Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 12 midnight. It would have been nice to have been told prior to our stay or at least at check in."
