"I was looking for a practical hotel to stay both for work as well to start cycling along the Rhine; Hotel Montfoort is picturesquely located in the historical Montfoort village, on walking distance of the beautiful castle. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, and the accommodation supplies everything you need for a pleasant stay and a good night’s sleep. Highly recommended."

"Clean room"

"Lovely spot to stay You can go to different spots around easily the train station is really close and it's so convenient. The personal was really kind and helpful. The room was clean, had good amenities and was just as described. The breakfast is a plus on this one, good choices, quality and convenient to start the day and go out to tour around."

"The Expedia first picture showed the town castle and only later showed the hotel pic but they are far away from each other. The room was a good size and updated but still felt old with bouncy floors and a window that hardly opened. No air conditioning - they did provide a fan. The restaurant was beautiful. Breakfast was nicely done with many choices, including hot items. Staff were great."

"We got this hotel for a good price so no real complaints and once inside the room we were happy. There was a very comfortable king size bed, big TV with Netflix and good air con. However communal areas are really grubby, lift wasn’t working and there were quite a few ‘characters’ hanging round the lobby. The receptionist on arrival was very unfriendly."
