The hotel was absolutely wonderful, with friendly staff, a lovely atmosphere, and an enjoyable stay, so I gave it five stars. The breakfast was very good, though it would be even better with a selection of cheese and nuts served with the yogurt. Overall, I had an excellent experience and would happily recommend this hotel.

The staff were wonderful. Paolo and Francesco went out of their way to help and ensure a great experience. Rooms were quiet and clean, breakfast, which was included, was excellent. The location was easy to access and well positioned. We would absolutely stay again.

I really amazing. It was a luxury cave. We booked the aromatherapy shower. Highly recommend to upgrade your room. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was not extensive, but it was perfect. Make sure to follow the parking instructions.

Possibly one of the most beautiful places we have stayed, in a truly unique and special city. Our cave room was large and spectacular. Couldn’t have asked for better amenities. Breakfast was nice. Perfectly located property and nice rooftop area.

This hotel is beautiful, clean and very calming. The staff was amazing, breakfast was fantastic and the rooftop was stunning. The location is walkable to everything. Matera is a beautiful and unique historic town that was really fun to explore. All of the restaurants we tried were delicious too. I highly recommend Matera and the Pianelle resort!

The resort was absolutely stunning. The view from it amazing. The two observations that we have are: the staff just did not have enough capacity to service all the rooms. We had a problem in the bathroom, asked for help, went out and two hours later it still was not addressed. The second was the breakfast. The breakfast was not on par with such a luxurious resort. They need to do more. More good varsity and served until 10:30, not running out of items at 9:30. Other than these two observations, we absolutely recommend the resort!
