"Paola made us feel right at home serving us with freshly made coffee and providing us with fresh fruit and juice.The delicious breakfast of fesh fruit and yogurt with a variety of preserves and those excellent pastries/cakes all made by Paola were wonderful! "It hurts to give middling ratings. The staff and mgmt were friendly and helpful (eg, they gave me a room close to the reception check-in, they provided transport to the train station when no other option was available). The problem is while the crew might be good they need to run a tighter ship, The property is showing its age, it’s up the hill from the town and is oriented to large groups. As a solo, shoulder season guest, we, the few, are lost in the cracks of pre-season prep. "
