"Außergewöhnliche Villa mit tollem Grundriss. Sehr viel Privatsphäre, da mitten in der Natur. Der Pool ist groß und tief. Die Aussicht auf die Hügel und das Meer ist traumhaft. Was die Innnenausstattung angeht: es war alles da. Besonders gefallen hat uns, dass es reichlich Handtücher/Badetücher gab. Die Alcantara Schlucht ist nur 5 min. Autofahrt entfernt und unbedingt sehenswert. Das Wasser in der Schlucht ist ziemlich kühl, was im Sommer eine Wohltat ist. Ein Mietauto ist ein Muss, da das nächste Dorf - mit Restaurants, Supermärkten, Bäckereien - nicht zu Fuß erreichbar ist. War für uns auch eine ideale Ausgangslage zum Vulkan Ätna. Fazit: Eine wunderbare Lage & ein beeindruckendes Haus."

The villa itself was stunning—spotlessly clean and full of charm.From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the owners, Antonio and Maria, with a generous gift of wine, meats, and cheeses. We were also invited to pick fresh fruit and vegetables straight from the farm, which made our stay feel even more special.Antonio and Maria are two of the kindest, most gracious people we’ve ever met. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their daughters were equally warm and loving. "We (10 people including family/friends & children) had a fantastic stay at this Relais de Placa! The villa was absolutely gorgeous and beautifully maintained, with all the amenities we could ask for, making it a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. The pool and grounds are beautiful, and the bedrooms are spacious, each with their own ensuite. The kitchen was a cook's dream, and we made some wonderful meals to eat out on the big table in the garden.Carmelo, the owner clearly cares a lot about his guests and the property, which is wonderful. Sometimes, he would drop by or check in — a sign of his attentiveness, though it’s worth noting if you prefer more privacy. He helped us book transport to a winery, and also U Pacciu, the best meat restaurant in the area. It's definitely worth a visit if you are carnivores like us!There were quite a few guidelines to keep in mind, but overall, an amazing stay. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a lush,well-equipped home away from home."
