Location was perfect for our needs. WiFi was weak and we had better LTE but room was clean and warm which was great. "It was very convenient to stay here when visiting Mooselake area as well as the Baxter State Park. From clean kitchen and complete cooking equipments and spices to a very comfortable bedroom. There was even Reese's and nuts when we got in which was a nice touch. Highly recommend!"

"It was a bit too close to a main road so road noise could be heard, particularly when sitting on the porch. There is no handrail up to the bedroom and the steps are rather steep and dark...not a good set up for older patrons or those with mobility issues. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable and a nice area to easily walk the dogs outside. The setting is very pretty on a river and canoes and kayaks are available to use."

"We came up for the eclipse extended weekend and were pleasantly pleased with how friendly and thoughtful our host was. She took the time to show us around and made sure we had everything we wanted. The house was very clean and as advertised (actually it was better than pics!). We arrived Saturday evening and the host was very attentive, friendly and welcoming. They left us 2 pair of eclipse glasses, bottle of wine and plenty of kitchen/bathroom amenities. The pellet stove was simply fantastic!...

"This is an old-fashioned motel. It's pretty dated and lacks modern amenities. However, it was clean, convenient, the bed was comfortable and Chris, the owner, was extremely responsive. If you find yourself in Millinocket, I would definitely recommend it."
