"A very pleasant stay however we experienced a lot of noise during the night from the roof space which we believe may have been caused by a bird being trapped in the roof space. We noticed a velum roof light so maybe a bird had got stuck in there the previous day. I’ll leave that with you guys"

"Hotel Mercure Rouen Centre Cathedrale is in the center of all of it. Great hotel that is clean and comfortable. Easy to walk to everything. "

"Stayed here for 2 nights as an emergency place to stay as I had mechanical problems on my bike. The staff were absolutely superb. The receptionist was delightful and very helpful making recommendations on where to visit and how to travel on the excellent, cheap and frequent bus service into town. Car park was very large and felt secure too. There is a big retail park next door which was very handy too. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows and bedding superb. A good hot shower and large towels were very much appreciated. Rouen is a spectacular town and 2 days was really insufficient to appreciate everything it has to offer. Would I stay here again ? Most definitely YES !"

"Walking distance from historical sites. Close from train station and Cathedral. Really nice reception, staff is extremely kind and helpful. Very confortable bed. We enjoy our stay."

"I had a great one night stay here. The staff were very kind and helpful (my French is not fluent and they were very patient and helpful to communicate easily for check in). The location is very convenient if you’re arriving by train (can’t miss it coming out of the station). Very clean and room was well equipped and updated. A nice surprise that I wasn’t expecting was an electric kettle in the room. As an avid coffee drinker, being able to make instant coffee on my own was so nice. Overall an extremely pleasant stay that I would recommend highly! Only tiny drawback was the very small elevator - to be fair it was exactly as I expected for this type of building. But I preferred the stairs anyway as they were charming, blue carpeted circular stairs. "

"2 star hotel centrally located with parking. A few blovks from all the action, cathedrals, dining. Stay here because of parking. Not a luxury hotel, but very convenient for one night. Continental breakfast for extra 9.50 eu was sufficient and had okay options and specialty coffee machine. I will definitely stay ahain if I have a car."
