Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire house and 1.6 acre yard. There is river access, and the house is handicap accessible.
The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is serene and secluded, but there are neighbors nearby. Gravel roads make for a nice nature walk, and of course the large yard is fun for all activities.
Other Things to Note:
- Well behaved pets with vaccinations and current flea prevention treatment are welcome. There is a $50 charge per pet per stay.
- There is a low-lying bridge you have to cross to get to the neighborhood. Snow should not impact crossing, as people live there full time, but the rare heavy flood would present a problem. We try to keep an eye on water levels and give notice if it might become impassable coming or going, but occasionally a flash flood surprises us.
Interaction with Guests:
We don't live far and are very knowledgeable about the area. We are happy to answer any questions you have during your stay and are available to be there when needed. We can recommend hiking trails, places to eat, and wineries and breweries in the area. Of course, it's also nice to just stay put and relax. For warmer months, we have tubes, fishing poles, and a flat bottom boat available for a float down the river. We look forward to hosting your mountain getaway!
