"This place is a truly special spot. It was immediately cozy when we entered and we had such a great time hanging out there during thanksgiving. The kitchen is so well stocked with cooking equipment it brought me some kitchen envy for my own home. There is a beautiful backyard right on a creek that is peaceful and secluded. There’s also a fun hangout area in the basement with a ping pong table, couches and speakers which was super fun for evenings. Also, it’s within walking distance to the Glen Ellen Star restaurant which is truly outstanding - definitely worth getting a reservation when you’re here. "

"This lovely home was just perfect for our weekend getaway to Sonoma Valley! Super clean, spacious, comfortable, well-appointed, and in a great location. The beds were incredibly comfy, and my husband (whose pet peeve about home rentals is the general lack of comfortable furniture) was ecstatic over the recliner in the living room. The private patio/garden area in back was so nice for enjoying a glass of wine in the afternoon. The home is easy walking distance to several nice restaurants, tasting rooms, and an outstanding French bakery/cafe; in addition, it's less than a 10 minute drive to Benziger Winery (their tour is a must-do!), and Jack London State Park (the free docent-guided tour was an unexpectedly lovely way to spend a morning). My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer!! But hopefully can return someday - would definitely stay here again."

"From booking to the actual stay, this property has been absolutely amazing and the owner has been incredible to work with going to celebrate our 20 year wedding anniversary with our closest friends. They all commented how wonderful the accommodations were close to so many places. Instacart delivers to this property which made our eat in dinners perfect. Ordering tritip and chicken for tacos and salmon from Costco was less than going to dinner one night at Mexican for our whole stay. Our guests loved how spacious the house was and it made it feel like with ten people you weren’t on top of each other: the house was so quiet we couldn’t even hear the snorers in our group. The backyard was so large you could enjoy bocce the garden the grill worked great and was filled with gas. For a large party it gives you a lot of space. The kitchen is updated and beautiful. There were spices in the cabinet which helped since I forgot to order salt and pepper. The garage fridge was perfect for a few white claws. I didn’t realize there were extra paper towels in the garage so I ended up buying some and leaving my extras out there to share. I really hope when I come out next time this property is available it was one of the best I’ve stayed at and I’ve traveled a lot. Thank you to our wonderful hosts.
