"Our room was clean, but there was a hair pick left on the counter and there was coffee grounds next to the hair pick. Not a big deal, I cleaned it up and threw the hair pick. The scrambled eggs and fried potatoes were not warm, I was the first one to eat so I figured it would be hot. They also had biscuits and gravy, the gravy was not warm, seems like they just opened the can and dumped it in the warmer. My suggestion would be to microwave it before dumping into warmer. The owners are doing a good job remodeling the place. Just need a few tweaks."

"This property is fabulous. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the river traffic. It has the best welcoming party in the form of Forest the river dog. He is a very well behaved boy who we happily shared time on the porch with. We would love to return and spend more time enjoying this place."

"Absolute getaway. You really really are unplugged! Unfortunately, we were there for a wedding weekend with extended family staying at a hotel in Troy. We had to leave a phone in the car to hotspot for meetup updates. I saw there was no wifi when we booked, so I checked to make sure our carrier covered the area... It did, but extremely spotty! Little to no signal in the cabin. Download a map of the area for your phone. We had gotten in after dark, and I'm glad we had a map to reference the unfamiliar area.I thought there were going to be some board games or puzzles, but this was not the case-- plan accordingly. I wish we had time to explore the national park. The drives were very aesthetic! Great views from the sitting area--an ideal spot to sit and read in the mornings. It might be cramped for 5 adults and luggage. As a family of 3, we were shuffling around each other-- granted we might've had some extra items due to the special event. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable, and the cabin temp remained comfortable throughout temp changes from day to night.Found some yummy spots and a Walmart in Troy, about a 10 minute drive away for anything we had forgotten. I'd love to come back with just the family and experience more of the quietness!"

"The Nest is adorable! Each detail was thoroughly thought through for this quaint space! The colors, the decor, all simple but pulled together sophisticated! You walk in to a welcomed window table with the cutest swivel wood cut stools where some simple games are suggested in a basket. There was also a sheet of birds for those who would be fortunate enough to spot any during their stay. In this room of five windows is a futon with pillows and a blanket, a fridge and microwave with mugs, coffee, tea, and creamer, a whitewashed luggage rack and a view to imagine life before us when it was just woods. Behind this room is the bathroom with a full length mirror behind the door, a blow dryer in the lower cabinet, a shower that is truly amazing but we unfortunately ran all the hot water out! Oopsie! We were well stocked with nice towels, wash cloths, and hand towels, and hand soap. The stairs! Don’t fret; just take your time and enjoy the relaxation that has been made for us! There is the cutest desk with matching night stand and I can’t even begin to tell you how adorable the bird bed lamp is. This queen bed was very comfortable and the room included a fan as well as an AC/heater. The alarm clock included additional plug ins and even an USB port. The window above the bed resembles a bird house hole. The window across the bed allowed some light to shine through the trees mid morning so you can definitely sleep in! The hot tub was very convenient and much needed! Thanks so much!"

"Very clean and perfect for a quick getaway with close friends. Wouldn't mind having someplace to unpack clothes in the front bedroom but other than that, it is great. This was our second stay and we will be coming again!"
