"I really enjoyed staying at the property. The staff was excellent. We really enjoyed the lounge area where there were several games to play, snacks, drinks, music streaming. They have a lovely fire pit and outdoor seating areas. An outdoor movie/sauna area, pool, hammocks, pickleball court and ping pong table. The property is surrounded by forest with trails. I will definitely stay at the property again if I find myself in the area. The only con was the driveway/road between the street,...

"The staff was welcoming and helpful, the room great and the breakfast was delicious."

"Our room was secluded & quiet. Location was great & easy to manage. People were friendly & accommodating. Thumbs up! 👍"

"Room was exactly as depicted. Clean, smelled fresh, bed was very comfortable! Despite being on a major roadway and it was a busy holiday weekend, the other tenants were quiet, road noise was minimal. The parking lot is a bit cramped but it’s a smaller lodge so to be expected. The staff were so considerate and helpful. Their recommendation for the Thai place around the corner was spot on. Delicious! Would definitely recommend The Lodge as a reasonably priced comfortable place to spend the...

"Check in was odd. No one was available so had to call and got texted the room # and door code. Small issue with curtains off track, but got corrected quickly. The room was clean and nicely renovated. Outside doesn't give the same nice vibe. Quiet at night. The bed is the foam kind, so feels like sink into hole. Not to my liking, but others may like that style of bed. Overall satisfied with the stay."

"This was a return visit, and, we absolutely love this hotel. The staff is courteous, friendly and attentive. They work hard to keep the property in excellent condition. The gardens are beautiful, the pool and fountain are great. The rooms are clean and well maintained. We can't say enough good things about this place. We are looking forward to returning next fall for our annual visit to see the beautiful fall foliage. What a fantastic property!"

"parking was plentiful but we were not certain how exactly to position our vehicle because there are no markings nor instructions that we found. not a big deal but we noticed it."

"Very nice and helpful staff and really affordable!"

"Just wonderful!!! It is an older "motel" style with doors facing outside rather than inside to a hallway, but we felt very safe. Very well maintained, comfortable spacious rooms, nice showers, loved view from the balcony, and the hot tub is the cleanest I've ever encountered at a hotel! Would definitely stay again!"

"Lovely getaway in a great location We really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, and the suite was beautifully set up and full of charm. Having parking right in front of our door made arriving and heading out so easy. The service stood out too: the hosts were friendly, quick to respond, and checked in to make sure everything was going well. A wonderful spot for a relaxing weekend, and we'd happily stay again."

"The staff was very helpful"

"Staff were very nice and helpful! Cute little cabin!"

"The service was very kind, especially because I got in after hours, but the room left something to be desired. The main concern was a few spider webs with daddy long-legs and some general wear and tear in the room. The jacuzzi tub worked though!"

"I have stayed a a variety of motels and I can honestly say this one was the worst. The bedding was horrible, only flat sheets and a comforter. There were roaches in the room, I killed several. I found an ant in the microwave. There was a coffee maker but no coffee or cups. There was only one bar of soap in the room so you had to take it back and forth from the tub to the sink. The second floor balcony looks to be unsafe with rusted metal holding it up. There were a few people who just sat in...

"Check was easy. Gentleman who helped us got us a room with a jacuzzi tub due to a cancellation and did not charge us full price. Helped us get settled in our room and made sure we were happy. Very quiet place. Beautiful scenery. Close to downtown without the downtown traffic. Will definitely return."
