My wife and I were there this weekend and the room was in good shape. The staff was nice. I will be back next year. This is my second year i go.

Nothing fancy but nice.

I was in town for the PBS taping of Bluegrass Underground at the Cumberland Caverns and just needed someplace close by and inexpensive to stay overnight so I didn't have to drive back & forth from Nashville. The Scottish was just what I needed.

Quick overnight

I was in McMinnville for the Bluegrass Underground. All I needed was a clean bed and that's all I really got. Otherwise, the room as was old and tattered. There was coffee drips on the wall that hadn't been cleaned off and ceiling tiles were falling out among other things.

Good value for the money.

Large rooms with microwave and refrigerator. Older motel but has been remodeled inside and out. Was clean and quiet. Cold water was shut off to bathroom sink, had to leave it because cold water would not shut off at faucet.

worst hotel ever

There was blood on the mattress and the lampshade amd the front desk was rude and barely spoke english. This was the worst hotel ever and my we ended up leaving in the middle of the night because my kids were afraid to stay there.

"Toilet ran the whole time."

The lady who checked us in was nice. However, we could not get the toilet to stop running continually. We took the top of the tank off and tried the usual methods, but it continued to run. I did let her know at the checkout, and she said she would have it fixed. Perhaps she will, but I think it will need new parts.

Not a terrible hotel but not great either. The neighborhood wasn't the greatest to start with. The rooms were small and cramped but relatively clean. Good for business but not vacation.

Scottish Inn

Not fancy but clean, well kept and has everything that you need including cable TV, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer and plenty of fresh towels along with a nice swimming pool and handy ice and drink machines. The staff was courteous and the lot was well lighted. Overall I was pleased, especially for the price. I would definitely stay there again.
