Little Cabin on the water…close to Glade Top Trail/Mark Twain National Forest

"Cute little cabin, with no tv and no bathroom (there is a nice community bathroom in walking distance). Perfect for a couple wanting to reconnect and spend time outdoors. The host were amazing. It has a little camp store with pie and ice cream, a food truck, with great food, and live music on the weekends during the summer. Very unique and beautiful place!"

"Excellent cabin. We brought our firewood from home and used the firepit out back. It was nice to have peace and quiet and be able to see the stars. Rockbridge was a 10 minute drive for trout fishing. We will come back next year."

"Our stay at this one-of-a-kind cabin in Ava, Missouri was nothing short of magical. From the moment we pulled up, we knew we were in for a special experience. The cabin itself is a masterpiece—perfectly blending rustic, cozy charm with all the modern amenities you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated. The interior was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and felt like a true home away from home. We are already planning our next trip back!"

"We had such a relaxing time! The kitchen amenities were fantastic. We loved the back deck with the amazing view, and being able to watch the deer in the backyard. The basement was our hangout spot with fun games and a comfy sectional. We already want to come back!"

"The property is exactly as described. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. It is REMOTE -- be prepared for that. The roads to/from the property and any store or restaurant are very hilly and twisty. (I wouldn't want to drive them at night or in rain or fog.) But, honestly, the best rental or hotel I have ever booked. So relaxing. A great way to get away from everything and recharge. (And that's not even why we were there -- we booked so we could attend an event in Branson but wanted to avoid staying in Branson.)Also, extremely dog-friendly which we so appreciated. Not just "dogs allowed" but affirmatively dog-friendly.Highly recommend and if I need to return to the area, I would absolutely book again."
