"Staff were excellent. Breakfast was good but didn’t have any meat included. Property should be fumigated occasionally to avoid insects like cockroaches. I did kill a small one outside my room in the corridor. My room was cleaned both days we were there and the sheets and towels were replaced both days I occupied the room. If not for the roaches, I would have graded the place excellent."

"Perfect place to stay for events at Pine Knob and Great Lakes Crossing. Plenty of space and very clean and charming. The house is very welcoming and that makes it harder to leave when the stay is over. Would definitely stay again"

"Hotel is great for a weekend or one night stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast offered hot breakfast foods such as mini omelets, sausage links and patties, seasoned cubed potatoes as well as make your own waffles. They had an assortment of mini muffins, bagels, cereal, yogurt, and fruit juice. Nice hotel and great value for the price!"

"The staff were very accommodating and showed genuine concern for the ordeal I went through at Baymont Inn. The suite we stayed had a few issues, however as far as missing kitchen equipment it was replaced by staff immediately upon notifying them. The shower curtain rod is not securely attached and so the curtain falls to the middle of the tub. I used paperclips to hold the curtain closed but it needs a couple of screws. I could not get the TVs to accept the HDMI cable so that we could watch the premium channels that we own. The cover on the couch needs to be washed and put on correctly. The kitchen floor had not been mopped. I used some cleaning towels given to me by the manager to clean the floors because the mop she offered me was so filthy it would not have cleaned anything at all. The carpet needed a good vacuuming. The problems were minor and did not diminish the good stuff much at all, it was a pleasant stay and I would consider staying again when we come back to Michigan."

"Our daughter got married at Pine Knob, and we used this property to host her and her bridesmaids in the lead-up to the ceremony. It suited that purpose beautifully, with guests especially enjoying the variety of indoor and outdoor spaces for eating and visiting with each other. There was plenty of room for getting hair and make-up done, and the house and yard provided many lovely and interesting backdrops for photos. The house was spotless, and there was ample parking and a well-equipped kitchen, nicely stocked with breakfast options.As far as we could tell, the "hot tub" was actually what we would call a spa tub, located in the bathroom on the main floor. (We'd envisioned an outdoor hot tub from the listing.) Also, the "gym" seemed to be just a stationary bike hemmed in by other items in a curtained-off area of the basement, not inviting use. The bedrooms do not have light-blocking shades, which proved a tad challenging for those arriving late into DTW on delayed flights. But these were minor issues that did little to dampen our enjoyment of and enthusiasm for the property. We would definitely use it again for this particular purpose!"
