"Our daughter got married at Pine Knob, and we used this property to host her and her bridesmaids in the lead-up to the ceremony. It suited that purpose beautifully, with guests especially enjoying the variety of indoor and outdoor spaces for eating and visiting with each other. There was plenty of room for getting hair and make-up done, and the house and yard provided many lovely and interesting backdrops for photos. The house was spotless, and there was ample parking and a well-equipped kitchen, nicely stocked with breakfast options.As far as we could tell, the "hot tub" was actually what we would call a spa tub, located in the bathroom on the main floor. (We'd envisioned an outdoor hot tub from the listing.) Also, the "gym" seemed to be just a stationary bike hemmed in by other items in a curtained-off area of the basement, not inviting use. The bedrooms do not have light-blocking shades, which proved a tad challenging for those arriving late into DTW on delayed flights. But these were minor issues that did little to dampen our enjoyment of and enthusiasm for the property. We would definitely use it again for this particular purpose!"
