An unique opportunity to stay in an historic property in the Bothwell area. This place has a comfortable feel with antique furnishings and modern ensuite. The golf setup was pleasing to those interested. Half the guests during my stay were golfing. There is the option for a communal evening meal in the modern events room which has a lovely view of the countryside. The food was good as was the conversation among the guests. There was a reading and historical backgrounding on the property. It is...

Beautiful part of the state, the simplicity of the accommodation blended with the beautiful countryside. The sauna was a treat, and food at Maydena Eats was delicious. WiFi instructions were wrong (maybe outdated?) and shower floors and bedroom corners had been overlookedā fixable things. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay and found ourselves wishing we were staying more than one night. Laurette was so nice, and the room was really cozy with an amazing view of the river. There were also some nice walking paths a few hundred meters from the hotel.

This is a new hotel and is in very good condition.
The only disappointment is with Hotels.com. The price is much higher than it initially showed. If you don't pay from a US account, prepare to pay an international transfer fee and also prepare for Hotels.com's crappy exchange rate.

I had a car during this trip and it's my assumption that's pretty standard for people traveling to Tazmania so I don't know how the locatoin would be if you were relying on public transport, but it was pretty great otherwise. There was a really nice walk to the Woolworths and it seemed a short drive to the river front (unfortunately didn't have a chance to find out). Property was nice and they had a small kids room attached to the restaurant. Nothing to go out of your way to see or anything,...

A magical time in a magical place. We stayed in the Walter (split level two bed room/bath rooms) that was amazing. Great amenities, helpful attentive staff, great food and drinks. The Mona Museum was incredible too. All around it was a most memorable and magnificent time in this gorgeous place!

The hotel has taken the time to create beautiful well groomed trails in the forest. The cabin is spacious. You are close to the Huon Valley with all its attractions. And you are on your way to Southern Tasmania. Great package of features!

The lodgings, food and service was fantastic! I felt like I was in a Jane Austin film and loved every second. The room was updated, comfortable and very cozy for the winter.
The food at the resturant was the best meal we had in Tassie and would come back again just for that. Staff were friendly and overall a 5 star experience.

Great hotel and location in the center of town. Nice spacious room, very good breakfast buffet, friendly helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Our room was very spacious, clean and modern. We didnāt like that our room window faced a wall. There must be only at most 3 feet between our window and the wall of the next building! However, the spaciousness of our room made up for it. We loved the afternoon complementary chocolate treats. Breakfast was decent but pricey.
