"Wonderful place. Huge deck was perfect for our small grandkids to play on, even a toddler gate. Short flight of steps, then a short trek down a sand hill to the beach. A creek running parallel to lake shore was great for the toddlers. They loved all the soft sand. The shed was full of toys and chairs for everyone, the sun shield worked out great! Beautiful sunsets every night, we even made s’mores at the fire pit. The house was well equipped and beds were comfy. Perfect for our family of 7 adults and 4 small children. "

"This is the 2nd time I stayed in the Golden Dunes cabin. It is private with a view but convenient to Hart, Mears and the Dunes. I have family in the area and was able to accommodate several family get togethers. We love staying here!"

"This was a nice large house perfect for a large group with plenty of room. It was clean and within a great location to hit the sand dunes! The only negative is that the listing states private pool and beach access within this community, however we never found it and there were no directions provided on how to get there. We would have liked to check it out. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Red Barn. This home away from home had everything we needed for an amazing family vacation. Very clean, close to everything, we will definitely be back. The hosts have really thought of everything for a great vacation and very easy to work with. "

"The Treehouse is a unique rental property. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The host has made this house cozy and comfortable. The living room is large enough for multiple activities to occur at the same time. Bedrooms are clean and comfortable.There are multiple decks to relax on and enjoy different views. The host supplied kayaks, life jackets, pickle ball paddles and tennis rackets for the on site court. Silver Lake is across the street. Lake Michigan is just down the road. Lots of parking. And, the hosts were wonderful."

"We have aged out of tents and cabins, but aren’t quite RV ready. This cottage fit the bill nicely: flush toilet and beds for everyone, beautiful sunset and birds chirping the arrival of a new day. Just enough adversity: no dishwasher, only one bathroom, no AC, and a bumpy mile long dirt road arrival. If we were the type to revisit a location, this would be on our list. Very clean house, plenty of lamps and fans to tailor to our preferences, and comfortable beds and chairs/sofa. "
