"It could be a lovely hotel if the staff smiled and had a clue what was going on. There was a lovely and friendly lady on reception, and one of the waiter serving in the evening was friendly, as was one of the bar staff (Josh). Everyone else seemed a bit surprised to have guests, and the women working at the bar weee positively rude in their demeanour. It could definitely do with an injection of cash to update it. "Convenient location not far from Heathrow to book for the night after our afternoon arrival from Australia. We discovered the town of Marlow was a lovely spot to explore along the River Thames, which was an added bonus. Room was clean and comfortable, and we slept well after our long journey. Excellent breakfast, so many delicious options and fried eggs cooked to order. Highly recommend!"

"It does exactly what it says on the tin. I always stay here during Henley royal regatta. It’s not cheap and this time the room was a bit small, but generally it’s all good. Staff were super nice. For me, a bonus is having Waitrose and another supermarket just a few minutes away. Means I don’t have to buy hotel food."
