"The property was just right for us. The drive up the mountain is not for the weak of heart though as most of the climb is on steep and narrow roads. That said, most folks take it slow and work together to get where they need to go safely. The view was stunning and the atmosphere relaxing. Pool was key. We did not stay long enough to use the grill or pizza oven but it was fun to have. "

"La propriété nous a apporté tout le confort que nous voulions et la piscine a été fortement appréciée. Emplacement calme sauf certains jours où les avions militaires de l'OTAN nous ont survolés très tôt le matin ou la nuit. "

"This home is great for families and groups. The grounds and pool are lovely. Pool is awesome and provided you have a rental car or are OK with cabs, the porperty is close to Chnaia town and other restaurants are within walking distance."

"Logement idéal pour notre premier séjour en Crète : accueil crétois au top, calme, authenticité. Très jolie maison crétoise au milieu d'orangers, de citronniers et d'oliviers. Accueil extra de Kovi et Mamie Stravoula !! De nombreux conseils des endroits à visiter et partage de la culture crétoise. Location recommandée les yeux fermés !! Merci Mamie et Kovi."

The villa was perfect, arranged exactly as we requested and additional amenities (in house chef prepared dinners, maid service and prestocked refrigerator) were delivered perfectly. "11 of us stayed at Villa Faidra for a long weekend. The villa is beautiful and as listed. The set up is perfect for chilling by the pool, having big bbqs and relaxing. It is about a 20 - 30 minute drive to Chania town depending on traffic. "Generaly, it is a good place to stay. The only problem we found some ants inside the room and we saw one ant in the bed. We reported it to the management, they just sent someone to do further cleaning. I know the hot weather is a good environment for ants but it should not be inside the rooms. They need to treat ants properly to keep them outside the rooms."
