"I often stay at luxury hotels, but I’ve never seen a hotel and room quite like this one. It’s rich in traditional Beijing architectural culture. The room is clean and full of character. The staff are extremely friendly. Everyone is working diligently and professionally. There’s none of the toxic tipping culture you find in the US. The afternoon tea and breakfast are also very fresh. The price is reasonable. Highly recommended!"

If you explore the alleyways in close proximity to the hotel you will find an array of wonderful shop and local restaurants. It is a good 45-60 minute walk to the forbidden city and other sights which suited me. "The hotel staff was very nice. Every staff and especially 汤志龙 was very helpful and nice! He helped me find an airplane model shop in Beijing and it made my kid's day! Without his help, my kids will be very sad... he even called to get the address, directions and everything for us! The rooms were clean! Always new and fresh towels every single day. Beds were always made and clean. I cannot wait to come back to this hotel when I visit Beijing!!!! Thank you so much for everything you and your team...

"This is an excellent hotel in Beijing.The room is clean. The staff and receptionists are outstanding specially Dana, the 2 Lynns’,Bob,etc.They are generous in water and other useful things. Although there was no elevator in going down to our room (R307)my daughter was able to exercise. My daughter walks on tiptoes due to her medical conditions. There is an elevator from the lobby to every level except in some areas. The staff helped us all the way through in our needs like transportation,etc We would like to thank everyone who made our stay memorable.We would recommend this hotel to our friends and customers."

"Only a few hundred meters to huge pedestrian mall. Close to subway. Near major tourtist must sees! Incredibly helpful staff. Lots of small restaurants in the area. Very nice rooms. You can book AND PAY! for taxis at the hotel, so no drama with Alipay or currency exchange. Was there for a week and a half and would stay there again very happily! Was there for mix of business and pleasure and perfect for both."

"I like the location in which is not far from the Forbidden city and Wangfujing pedestrian area. The metro is a walking distance. You can take line 8 or line 5. On the main street Dongsi, there are lots restaurants to choose. The apartment is excellent. Spacious. It is a quiet location. "
