"Stay was during May-25 at the Akohara retreat in Ubud. On arrival greeted by staff with flower garland, drinks and local traditional dance. This is definitely a couples retreat. Our room was six levels down a mountain, some 405 steps down. We used the inclinator elevator to travel between our room and main pool and restaurant. "I had an amazing time staying at the villa. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Dewi and team (there's another girl whom I didn't recall the name), who went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. She was always smiling and ready to assist me with anything. The villa was clean (no mozzies and bugs) and spacious, with a beautiful view of the garden and the pool. It had everything I needed, such as a comfortable bed, a big bathtub and a private pool of decent size....
