Who doesn't love a room with a view!
We loved this house as soon as we walked in the door. The kids immediately hunkered down in the tiny games room which is made up of a cushioned area to play computer games and watch TV.
While we set ourselves up on the large deck overlooking the garden and the Mornington Peninsula surrounds. This sunny spot is perfect for much of the day with a coffee and a good book. In the evening everyone congregated around the BBQ and outdoor dining table for dinner and then the kids would set up the table tennis in the garden room while we lit the fire pit and drank wine and toasted marshmallows for dessert.
It's a 1.3km walk to The Hidden Kitchen for breakfast or lunch or to pick up some gourmet supplies for dinner.
Make your stay a complete relaxation weekend by heading to the Peninsula Hot Springs only 5 minutes away by car and afterwards have lunch at The Cups Estate practically next door, its only 40 minute walk away from HIGHVIEW so if you have one to many pinots....say no more!
Please note that there are security cameras located on the roof of the house. The cameras are not active during your stay and not connected to wifi.

Yay! a garden with tall fences to keep me safe. Love the lawn and bushes, there are lots of interesting smells. And we had lots of cover under the house and places to explore.
And there's a special basket just for me. No way! What's in there? Ooh, ooh! a treat from PAWDINKUM. I LOVE THIS PLACE.

Family getaway
Property was spacious however a few downfalls. Firstly the kitchen crockery needs updating. Everything is old and mismatched and looks like it was picked up at the Salvos.
The backyard was fantastic but not internal access which made it difficult for the dogs as we had to go out the front of the property to access the backyard. There was also no lighting at all in the backyard so at night was not usable as could not see a thing.

Quality touches
Highview has a great deck, an easy lay out and is well set up for relaxing and taking it easy. The linen, towels and bedding are great quality and there were lots of nice touches to make us feel welcome - including sparkling wine in the fridge. Crockery could do with an update and some nice wine glasses would have improved the kitchen set up. Overall a very enjoyable break.
