We had a wonderful weekend with family in Healesville. There were 8 adults and the house was perfect for us. The location was perfect and we could walk to dinner, shops and Four Pillars.

Great house, so very clean & well located in relation to shops, restaurants etc. Only negative was the pub across the road - quite noisy at night, particularly as there were a few scuffles outside on Saturday night.

Six of us had a weekend away and loved our stay here. The property is in a fantastic location - we walked everywhere and definitely didn’t need a car. 4 very comfortable king bedrooms and a great kitchen/lounge setup downstairs meant we were all very relaxed and comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again/recommend to others!

We stayed at McKenzie House for a girls weekend away, location was excellent, literally in the middle of town, so easy to walk to shops, dinner and Four Pillers cocktails class!
The accommodation itself is fantastic, the photos do not do it justice. We were all pleasantly surprised on how great it was. Absolutely wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and highly recommend to others.

The property is clean. Restaurants outside the property with walking distance. Wineries are all within a 10-25 minutes away from the property. Neigbourhood pretty good. Locals are friendly. Towels are clean and white - excellent.
My only comment about the property is the tiles in the shower downstairs is slippery, a bit dangerous who are not aware that it is slippery.
Overall stay was excellent. We will come again and recommend to our friends.
thank you very much.

Enjoyed our weekend with friends in Healesville, beautiful town with lots to do and the house was just as advertised. Awesome location also. We didn't need to drive anywhere the whole time we were there. Will be on-recommending to friends and family.

We loved the McKenzie house, it made our stay in Healesville exceptional. Perfect memories made in this delux home only a step out the gate into the shops and cafes. We would love to return here again in the near future. Thank you for creating a little haven in the wine region.

We stayed at McKenzie House as part of a girls weekend. As women who have the creature comforts at home, I'm always wary about where to book but could not have been happier! The bedrooms, lounge area, bathrooms were a beautiful art deco style mixed with modern luxury. Super comfy beds & quality furnishings throughout. Some reviews mentioned the street traffic but we didn't find it a problem. Location was superb and an easy walk to everywhere Healesville has to offer, or a short drive to the nearby wineries. We will definitely be back!

We had a great couple of days in Mc Kenzie House , really nicely fitted out with quality pieces. Comfy beds, plenty of heating, and so close to everything in Healesville.
Would really recommend this property.

Amazing place! Beautifully renovated, quirky and tastefully decorated! Huge comfy beds and luxurious bedrooms. Conveniently located two doors up from the Main Street of Healesville and only minutes walk to restaurants, cafes, pubs, pizza, chemist, bottleshop and Coles. It was fabulous for our girl's weekend and a $35 cab ride (10 mins) to the Rochford winery for our Day on the Green concert! Downside to being central was the noise level! Traffic, hotel across the road, bus stop right out the front! Extremely noisy but no probs if you're a heavy sleeper! Also, no dishwasher if you are planning to cook meals. Highly recommend this house!!

This house is centrally located - just steps away from the main strip in Healesville. The interior of the home is lovely, with a very warm feel in the living room. We loved the big round table in the dining room - perfect for nights playing cards.
If you were to spend longer than a couple of nights here, the rooms are missing wardrobes/dressers. When we stayed, only one room had a dresser and the rest had coat racks.
The kitchen is a bit on the small side, and we had to move things off of the benchtops if we wanted to cook, etc, but this was not a big deal. Our hosts provided us with a lovely hamper of delicious goodies.
As mentioned, we loved stepping out and having so many great cafes and little shops so close by. It was a lovely stay in one of our favourite spots.

We really enjoyed at stay at McKenzie House - there were really no faults at all. You do get a bit of traffic noise but that's expected when you stay so close to the Main Street and wasn't a problem for us .Would highly recommend!!
