We stayed at Polperro for two nights. We had perhaps our worst accommodation experience ever the first night - between having loud neighbours (the walls between the apartments are very thin) and a gate under the house open and unlatched, banging against our villa all night we had very little sleep. We were repeatedly woken by the banging of the under house gate. On the second night this had been remedied - people had been working under our unit the day we arrived. The space was clean, comfortable and luxurious. There was an odd issue where the unit next to us would use water and our spa would make loud gurgling sounds in the pipes. In saying this, we did love the accom - very comfy, option for a wood fire, privacy, wicked sauna and a beautiful outlook over the vineyard. Heads up though - it’s very open plan, meaning when someone is using the bathroom you can hear absolutely everything!
The villa was amazing! The gigantic jetted tub was so relaxing and romantic. The stylish furnishings, handy kitchenette, wood fireplace, and comfortable bed were all lovely. Staying on a winery has always been a dream of ours, and we would highly recommend Polperro Villas!
A last minute decision to have a mid-week getaway down the coast, Polperro Villa #3 was just what we needed to rejuvenate. A recipe for success, who couldn't relax with a vista looking out over the rows of vines!
Warm and welcoming from the moment we stepped over the threshold, every provision of comfort had been thought through from the sunken spa bath, wood fire, quality breakfast provisions and the beautiful furnishings.
Our one night away was pure indulgence, quality over quantity, highly recommend!
The accommodation is new'ish and has terrific views over the Polperro winery. It is spacious and well appointed. However.... the toilet is open to the shower / bathroom and only separated from the living room by a small wall and no door. Some might like a lot more privacy when nature calls.
The only disappointing thing was the email sent by management is so full of negativity about charges for this and charges for that if you don't follow the rules. You only get one chance at a good first impression.
Nice views, clean room but just missed.
The continental breakfast needed some yoghurt and strawberries the seasonal fruit was tired.
The bottle of Kambucha in the fridge had a use by date of 2016.
Two nights but no room service.
Even a 2 star motel makes up the bed
A wonderful time away with views of the vineyard. We were impressed by how thoughtfully the room was designed and styled. Very beautiful and comfortable with various zones for relaxing, reading, watching a movie, spa etc. We didn't even venture out in the evenings- we had everything we could want right there. We loved being close to wineries and local food producers and also visited local art galleries. So much to do, although we spent lots of time in our room because it was so peaceful and inviting.
Would definitely love to visit again.
Loved the view and the private deck. We took full advantage of the minibar, the fireplace, and the spa bath with water feature. Styling was quite nice and everything we needed was available in room. Self check in was simple. We spoke to the staff only on the phone but they were all very lovely. We had lunch at the bistro which was really the icing on the cake.
Only complaints were slow internet and the restaurant only open on Friday and Saturday. I booked the accommodation partly because the reviews raved about the restaurant and how you didn't have to leave the property, it was not clear to me that we would not be able to take advantage of the restaurant on a Thursday.
All up it was a great night and we got take away pizza from The Epicurean just down the road.

Nice villa private good resturant and wine.
Had a nice stay good friendly staff in resturants clean private but few webs on ceiling roller blind not closing no welcome on arrival or ackknowledgement breakfast provided for two days bit poor. Split system in room heating not working.
Overall nice but would have been better if items above weren't an issue would go back if we need to.
Room was well appointed- comfortable king bed, large heated spa, excellent minibar and a log fire place. Supplied continental breakfast of muesli and crusty cob was more than sufficient for our stay of two days. Restaurant operates only over Thurs for lunch and Fri and Sat for lunch and dinner. We enjoyed lunch very much on Thurs even though the day was wet. There are two other restaurants nearby when the restaurant is closed. A great outlook over the vineyard.
Wonderful stay in Villa 1 which seems to have the best views over the vineyards. Very comfortable & great views. Villa was well stocked with everything we needed & well laid out for comfort & practicality. Loved the massive circular sofa & big shower. Big spa with waterwall behind! Nice little deck with chairs overlooking the property was perfect for sampling local wine & produce. Very good Cellar Door (great staff) & restaurant. A few little details could have been better, but nothing to ruin the stay.
Had an amazing anniversary here. The room alone has so many romantic activities to indulge in. It's a couples playground. This place would be amazing in summer or winter. I will be coming back for another Anniversary.
