Wattle House - St Kilda

Welcome to Wattle House, St Kilda, a beautifully restored historic home dating back to 1846 and recognised as St Kilda’s oldest house. Designed by architect Samuel Jackson, this Gothic Revival home retains many of its original features, including soaring ceilings, Baltic pine floors, Tudor details, leadlight windows and an impressive original fireplace.

The home combines its historic character with modern comforts, including a beautifully appointed kitchen with quality appliances, a separate dining room and generous living space. Outside, the sunny alfresco area and outdoor kitchen provide a lovely space to enjoy meals and relax. Upstairs are four bedrooms, with an additional double sofa bed downstairs for flexible sleeping arrangements.

Wattle House is perfectly positioned in the heart of St Kilda, just a short stroll from Acland Street's cafés, restaurants, bars and shops. St Kilda Beach, Luna Park, trams and public transport are all close by, while the CBD and Melbourne's many attractions are easily accessible. It's an ideal base for enjoying everything St Kilda and Melbourne have to offer.

We welcome guests to book that are going to use the property respectfully. We have a very strict no party policy at the house, which means no loud music day or night and at 11pm we ask you to move inside with no noise to the neighbours. We love our neighbours and want to look after them.

Your booking is for the whole property. Shortly before your arrival date you will be provided with details on how to access the property. Linen, bath towels and starter amenities are provided for your convenience.

Sorry no bucks and absolutely no schoolies bookings of any kind, not even quiet ones :)
