The Swiss Miniature is an open air park/museum that contains detailed miniature sized models of buildings, castles, cathedrals and monuments mostly of Switzerland. The models are surrounded by hundreds of trees and flowers. There are also model trains that are entertaining for younger children. The beautiful model of the Mailänder Dom is the only model in the Swiss Miniature that visitors can explore from the inside.

Trotz der teilweisen recht heißen Tage war das Schlafzimmer im Untergeschoss noch angenehm kühl und auch in den restlichen Räumen konnte man sich gut aufhalten. Unser Lieblingsplatz war allerdings die überdachte Terrasse mit dem tollen Blick auf den See und die umliegenden Berge. "This is a lovely grand hotel, you really couldn't get a much better location at the foot of Lake Como. Our room looked directly over the lake, access to the shops and multitude of restaurants took only a few minutes. The hotel had lovely period features, dining room was stunning and our room though on the small side was very cosy, the bed exceptionally comfortable and had more than adequate storage. Breakfast was good and the cleaners did a brilliant job. All in all highly recommended."

"Overall, a great hotel to stay at in Como. The location is perfect, right around wonderful restaurants to eat at, and of course by the harbor for easy access to boat travel. The room was nice and clean as well as a perfect balcony view over the harbor/lake Como itself. Breakfast was good and the staff were all very friendly including help with parking. Would definitely recommend if looking for an easy and comfortable hotel to stay at in Como. No complaints. "
