This was both the least expensive and our favorite hotel of a two week trip. Quaint, clean, with a lovely lobby, lounge, and dining area. Rooms were of a nice size with absolutely no flaw that we could see. Franco and Michaela hosted us with grace and just the right amount of attention. We departed as fast friends. We arrived at the hotel at a relatively early hour, checked in and left our luggage in the hotel. After a day of sightseeing in the area we returned to the hotel. The receptionist took us to the room and only after they entered the room did she say, "We gave you an upgrade." We are left speachless, a stunning suite, 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and a huge balcony with sunbeds overlooking the wonderful view of Lake Lugano. The location of this hotel is amazing! Right on the water with breathtaking views. Also has onsite parking and a great breakfast buffet available.

The view plus the peace and quiet. The hosts did a phenomenal job taking care of all of our needs.

The Lugano Dante hotel is a great hotel, the location can't be beaten, steps from the funicular and right by the city center, we walked everywhere. This hotel is very generous in terms of taking of customers, free drinks in room mini bar, coffee, espresso, apples, waters in the lobby, make one feel so much like home. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Switzerland (only behind the 5 stars hotel we stayed in Zurich), great selection with authentic Italian grilled veggies, cheeses, ham ,...

Our stay was exceptional with a nice balcony and view. The breakfast and dinner was excellent and they even provided a complimentary smart vehicle to take into the city. Nice touch.

Short stroll down the ramp from the main buses and trains. Host brought us to door just down the block and showed us to our little apartment. Kitchen was fully equipped; even a dishwasher. Beautiful corner room with nice view down the alleys. Around the bend from our doorway was a cement patio with flowers to relax. The breakfast was great.

This hotel is one of the best. Friendly staff, great accommodations, great food and drinks. I would recommend anyone to stay there. 10 out of 10

The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff here were absolutely above and beyond. They were so kind and understanding id stay here again and highly recommend then hotel to anyone staying in the area. Also extremely Clean and very close walk to lots of amazing things.
