"Kooyk Hotel is very well located for local museums, bars, restaurants and public transport or 30 min walk into city centre. Property is a bit tired and could use renovation but staff were very helpful."

"Great location. Few minutes away from the Rijk and Van Gogh museum. Close to great restaurants and high end shops. Staff were incredible, very helpful. Restaurant attached to the hotel Momo was excellent!! We would definitely go back!"

"The property is very well located. Unfortunately we got two rooms and we were sent to the top two floors with heavy baggage and no elevator. The hotel did not mention no elevators. Also no air conditioning. For Americans that’s a must. We had to open the windows which allowed insects to come into the rooms. Noth families and n corn rooms had insect bites and my wife has had to visit a doctor to alleviate insect bites and infection. We had a 3 night stay and we did not have lighting in our room for 2 of those nights. Very rough stay. Only good thing was location. The hotel needs lots of work and upgrades"

"The location of the property was good. Just a short walk away from trams, restaurants, bars, and museums. We purposely booked this hotel because of the a/c, but when we arrived, the a/c in the room wasn't working and they had a portable a/c unit in the room that had to be vented to the outside, meaning the double door window had to be open all the time, so the room was humid and loud. They didn't make up our room, and since the staff is there during limited hours, we had to call someone and beg for clean towels, water and coffee, which they did bring, but didn't bring water or clean cups. We had a very early flight, and at 5am, there was no hot water, and again, no one there to ask about it. Overall, the place was ok, just disappointing when you pay extra for a nicer room and it wasn't a good experience. It does look better in the photos, but the room was large, and shower was big with decent water pressure. Nice to have the fridge with water, and the Nespresso machine."
