"Buckhood cottage had everything needed, clean and functional. The kitchen was a good size with the best view to look at while washing up. Beds were comfy and slept very well. Only issue was the shower, very low pressure and runs scorching hot and freezin cold. Overall a very good stay. Xxx"

"What an amazing cottage. Dont know where to begin. The cottage is lovely and cosy. There was an amazing welcome pack upon arrival with the most delicious scones & shortbread amongst other things. As the title suggests theres better things to see than watch TV. Within an hour of arrival we were visited by a red squirrel who along with 2 others kept us entertained for the week. "Could easily charge much more for the 2 days that we stayed here. Needs a wee bit of money spent on it though Front door had a large weed to the right of the door and key box needs replaced or repainted. Some windows had blinds and shutters were badly fitted with no handles. Living room/kitchen needed a few pictures and a fancy splash back at cooker.Bathroom needs toilet pan secured to the floor better and a mirror. "Good communication with John and easy check in on arrival. Unfortunately, we caught the tail end of a raging storm so weather didn’t allow us to use the patio and massive grassed garden as much as we would have liked but family still enjoyed break here very much. Tremendous heat from the Aga was a wee bit overwhelming but at least it allowed us to dry our hot tub towels very easily! Would return here again."
