Lazy Bear Cabin will be the place you'll want to come back to again & again with your family & friends! Lots of open space to spread out & enjoy your stay in the mountains. Comfortably sleeps 9 with tons of games, outdoor amenities & just 3.5 miles to downtown Mentone! Downstairs offers a large open living room with wood burning fireplace, fully stocked kitchen with island as well as a dining area. Also downstairs, you’ll find two king bedrooms and two full baths. Upstairs, off the loft, is a Queen bedroom. The loft area is where all the fun is with foosball, ping pong, air hockey, jumbo games, cozy bean bag chairs + a full size bed with twin trundle. But it doesn’t stop there…outside you’ll fall in love with the wooded landscape surrounding Lazy Bear Cabin! Brand new hot tub to soak after a full day of hiking near by DeSoto State Park, Little River Canyon National Preserve or Couldland Canyon State Park! A charcoal grill to throw some burgers or steaks for dinner and a firepit for a s’mores dessert. Lots of porches to enjoy your meal outdoors, sip your favorite drink while listening to the sounds of nature and maybe catch a glimpse of our local deer and turkey!

We had a lovely stay with family at this awesome cabin! Lots of space to spread out and enjoy with our group. Very close to DeSoto Falls and Mentone, which we enjoyed visiting! We would definitely stay here again!

The Lazy Bear Cabin was an excellent spot for our family Thanksgiving vacation! We enjoyed a shopping trip to Chattanooga, a hike at Desoto State Park and viewing Desoto Falls. The cabin has lots of games, cookware and dishes. It is in a nice wooded, quiet location. Very peaceful!

Beautiful Getaway

This is a perfect family getaway. Great place to take your family and enjoy nature. The hot tub was a bonus, the kids thoroughly enjoyed the game room, and plenty of room outside to make a fire or eat outdoors. We hope to come again!

Lazy Bear

Lazy Bear was truly awesome. The beds were comfy, the property was in a quiet location, the hot tub was relaxing, and everything was very clean. I definitely recommend staying here. If you decide to stay, go to The Hatter tea shop just down the road.

We loved everything about this sweet cabin. It had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. We loved the hot tube and sitting around the fire pit. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Menton, it was so close to everything.

Simply Amazing

Such a beautiful property; Lazy Bear was a perfect mix of seclusion and privacy but within a very reasonable proximity of all the nature and hiking one would want in the area. Plenty to do to stay busy, or simply stay in and relax in the hot tub or by the fire. Highly recommend this cabin if you’re interested in visiting the area.

Louisiana pickers shopping the longest yard sale

This property was perfect for our group of vintage pickers from Louisiana! The property was nice and clean. Everything worked perfectly!! The covered area was great for storage of our large pieces of furniture we purchased! Would definitely rent this property again as it is right off the shopping route!!

Lazy Bear getaway

No one told how great the house was so that each group (we traveled separately) could get the WOW factor as they walked through the door. Super cute black bear theme throughout the house. Young and old enjoyed the hot tub, fooseball, and air hockey. We also enjoyed separate nearby interest such as hiking, zip line, shopping and antiqueing. A very memorable family getawawy.

Perfect mountain cabin

We absolutely loved our Father’s Day weekend stay at this cabin. It was so comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. We were very impressed at how well stocked and all the amenities. Very thoughtfully laid out and accessible. Laundry area was nice. Loved the bathrooms and wood cabin details. We would definitely visit again! Lazy Bear

The Lazy Bear was one of three cabins we rented so our whole family could come together to celebrate Grandpa's 70th birthday. Those who stayed here were very happy with the accommodations! The children especially enjoyed the game room/loft. Everyone gathered here for a brunch one day. It was nice to have the picnic table on the porch and the back deck with another picnic table. Thank you for making this property available.
