The front desk was very helpful when we had the untimely loss of a phone on a bus- they made several phone calls in our stead, & we actually got the phone back when it turned up at the local police station! I had to sleep with the windows open because the smell was omnipresent and it even affected my sleep. I looked everywhere to find the source (a plug-in or something) but never found anything.
