"The breakfast was eggs to order and then both hot and cold options. If you are over 5ft 10 watch your head on lower beams, not all of them are padded either! Shower was not as powerful as I would have liked and the complimentary shower toiletries was a shampoo/ body 2 in 1. Good for male, less so for females. Really comfortable bed and air conditioning and heating available in the room - so suits all sleep temperatures."

"The hotel is very beautiful, with a lovely view over the countryside. The communal areas are very pleasant, the restaurant, the garden and the room next to the bar are perfect for relaxing and reading. The staff are helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and well-equipped. I had a lovely stay and would recommend the hotel. The dinner menu was also good. The location is a 15–20-minute walk from the town centre. Just bear in mind that it’s at the top of a hill, so some people might find it easier to use a car or taxi. I liked the location as it was still close to town yet peaceful, just as I wanted."

"Beautiful stay here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking waa easy. And the room was amazing, such a comfy bed, very clean and spacious. Such a amazing selection for breakfast. All well layed out and cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend. If you can't manage the hill going down to town then there is a bus stop outside as the walk back up is quite steep. 10/10"

"The staff were excellent all very friendly and keen to help, happy to chat. They appeared to work as a good team. The place is a little tired but I understand that things are being done. The food was very good and the lunch was really good value. We met several regular customers while we were there which speaks volumes. Well place right next to the railway station and we found that did not make is overly noisy."
