Overall I really liked the hotel. Our room was awesome. Felt like I was in a 5 star resort. Dayshift staff are the best. Breakfast was delicious. I believe they are owned by locals and that is a plus. I was welcomed with a refreshing lemonade that was delicious. Restaurants and Centro is within walking distance. I recommend the hotel and would definitely come back.

We booked this trip on a whim and had no set plans when we landed. We lucked out. The staff were all amazing. The rooms were immaculate and modern. The breakfast was incredible and the courtyard was beautiful. We were only supposed to stay 1 night but stayed 3. The staff gave us great activity and restaurant recommendations. The only reason we didn’t stay the 4th is because we stayed at closer to the Cenotes that they recommended we see. Would highly recommend and we will be back.

A quiet, sophisticated gem

This is one of the best small hotels I have ever stayed in. The property is gorgeous -- a beautiful blend of historic architecture with modern touches. The staff was always pleasant and happy to answer questions about restaurants, things to do, etc. The location is great too -- slightly west of the main tourist core in Santa Lucia, so a bit quieter, but still easy to walk to restaurants, shops and the Plaza Grande.

Hotel Antelar Casa Destino is a lovely boutique hotel in the old colonial sector of Merida. The architecture is magnificent, the rooms beautiful and comfortable, and the location ideal - walking distance from Merida's attractions but in a quiet enclave. The service and staff were outstanding.

Highly recommended in Merida

An excellent hotel in Mérida. The villa-like atmosphere and architecture was matched only by the attentiveness of the staff. Wake up to a morning swim at the manicured crystal watered pool and follow with breakfast....or just a short walk to several coffee shops nearby. On a quiet street, but just a few blocks to the heart of the old town district. Highly recommend Casa Destino Antelar

Rooms are very cozy and comfortable, hotel is centrical and well designed. Hotel is lack of kitcken. Food options are limited to couple of items only and is not good. For the high price, they should at least include the breakfast.
