While this is an older resort, the staff was extremely couteous and attentive. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping attended them every day. The front desk staff were very helpful and put us in touch with very competent transportation, as the resort is a bit off the beaten track, which added to its appeal for us. The food was excellent and the wait staff made every meal special. There were plenty of options for us. They made a great vacation that much better.

I appreciate the friendliness of the staff, I like that it isn't too loud except for a couple occasions like christmas dinner. I find it is a good value to be right beside the ocean and having all meals covered plus snacks and several drink options. Yes it is a bit of a drive away from Merida but that puts it close to wild flamingos.

The property could be very special but, looks like the owners have not done any renovations for years. No access to the beach because of erosion. The rooms lacked decor. The buffet was undesirable. Cold food and lack of choices. The staff was wonderful though. Very friendly.

The staff were great. The grounds are really impressive. Loved hearing the waves crash against the retaining wall. Some of the food was very good, some was just so so. They need better steam tables to keep the food warm. Also, this isn't their fault, but the road that leads to Reef Yucatan and other nearby resorts is ridiculous. It's like an obstacle course of potholes.

It was ok. Nice ocean views that what I book with you…. but needs a lot of attention like cleaning maintenance and the enter to the property is to bad a lot of holes to get in to the property. At least make a drive way. Food was ok. But coffee on a foam cup?? Really?? Drinks really bad.

The beach is practically inaccesible, stairs go down right to the water, no beach to walk/stay, the room had the bathroom door loose on the top so you needed to push it up in order to close it, for my 7 year old daughter this was impossible because of the door weight, so she needed help everytime she needed to use the restroom, buildings are old and need maintenance, but all in all it was a good place, at nights, it is so calm that you can enjoy the sea sound and moonlight like no other place in crowded hotel áreas. Food was ok, but service was slow, and not a lot of options to choose from.

There is hardly any furniture in the room. No hot water, no water pressure. The pool tiles are broken, the bridge over the pool area is broken with pieces of wood and nails sticking out. Beach was inaccessible due to hurricane which is fine, but no staff out there trying to fix it. The food is not very good. There is literally no one here. It's in the middle of no where so there is nothing around but there is also nothing to do on the property. Staff are friendly and nice. Only redeeming factor is the price.

The room has no chairs to sit in, in your room. None. You either sit on the bed or the floor. The floor was never really clean, always sandy. The food selections are very limited, and being allergic to mushrooms turned into a big thing. The folks who work there are so friendly and kind. They are the amazing feature of this place.
