"This hotel exceeded my expectations. It has a bit of the feeling like a charming family run type hotel. I picked it mainly for the location (in the centre and walkable to the train station) and air conditioning (which is now really essential if travelling in summer in Europe due to heat waves) and based on having breakfast also. The room was much nicer and the hotel more up to date than I expected (based on pictures) which is always nice to find. The breakfast itself is more of the continental style but still has enough variety to please. The hotel does have a sauna (I saw it but didn't use it due to the heatwave at the time). It certainly is also a bonus to have that available. Given the convenience, charm and comfort I would definitely stay here again."

"Great choice of hotel for one night stay. Super convenient for 10-15 min walk into Nordlingen historic centre and car parking included as free in Edeka shop car park. Hotel is above the Edeka shop, which has fresh bakery and so good for cheap breakfast. Didn’t see any staff - it is self service check in, but it worked well and no problems. The room was reasonable size for two persons with luggage. Especially helpful was the row of hooks along the wall at various heights so good to hang up small bags as well s clothes. No kettle."
