"This was one of the best places we stayed on a 10 day vacation of Texas, NM and Arizona! Adorable little "western town" with all of the town buildings being the rooms to stay in. All separate and private. The property is off grid with solar and batteries. This worked beautifully and had plenty of air conditioning and power. The room was air conditioned with a mini-split which meant that it was super quiet. No rattly air conditioner coming on and off all night. The property is 2 miles off the main road on a gravel road. The road was in excellent condition and they even offered a 4 wheel drive if the weather was bad. It was totally self check in. We received the code for our door long before we needed it. No one was on site, but the communication was amazing. They had outdoor grills available and a full kitchen for guests to use. The kitchen was stocked with food to be shared and also had room in the fridge to put your own food if you needed that. The breakfast was self serve and included the normal coffee (Kerig), juice, muffins, milk, waffles in the freezer to fix, etc. This property was amazing and I would definitely stay here again if I am ever in Terlingua again. Very convenient to Big Bend National Park and State Park."

"We really enjoyed the location! The sunsets were spectacular! The rock formations were beautiful!The cantina was helpful for us to prepare meals. Two gas’s grills, cold bottled water, continental breakfast, coffee, full dining table, two stoves, utensils and cups, pots and pans, fridges.Also hoping for an improved shooting range! It’s adequate but could be improved! Love the idea of being able to do some shooting! Our room was great! Loved the fire pit seating outside! Nice covered porches with rockers. Enjoyed having our dogs with us, great place for them to got their “sniffs” in.We will be back!"

"The perfect weekend getaway! This house is well equipped with everything you need o enjoy the Terlingua/Big Bend experience, from the outstanding Mountain View’s from the porch, the interior aesthetic that embodies the local vibe, the location, within easy walking distance to all of the Ghost town attractions and easy driving to Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park. Spirit House is a wonderful experience!"
