"We loved our stay at Creta Palace, it was our honeymoon and the hotel so kindly upgraded us to a family suite on arrival which was beautiful. "Gorgeous hotel, service was perfect. Any little problem that could have been solved was immediately fixed by staff. Public areas and rooms were immaculately clean. Best hotel breakfast I’ve ever seen with 30 trays of hot and probably 50 cold dishes. Pool area and beach were lovely and relaxing. The one warning I would have is that the pool area is very slippery and dangerous. There are few handrails (really only one) so it’s hard to enter and exist safely. I saw several people slip. If food is not included in your rate I would recommend visiting other local hotels for lunch and dinner. The restaurant is nice but is very expensive relative to the local area. "
