"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. "Quite designerish modern style house set in to the hillside overlooking olive groves populated by sheep. Perfectly located for views of the coast and a hill breeze. Well equipped kitchen and a comfortable living room with a satellite TV. Comfortable beds. Wonderfully quiet setting with extraordinary amounts of birdsong. Pool is a great benefit - a plunge pool at a good temperature. Immaculately clean and noticeably good insulation and mosquito netting for all the windows and the doors to poolside.Easy access to the main roads and shops so long as you have a car and are happy to drive on Cretan country roads."

"We had a great stay at this villa. We had unfortunate weather with a sand storm and hail, but we were lucky the villa was so nice inside. I would recommend checking the weather before you lay for the pool to be heated however as we wasted 300 on this as we couldn’t use the pool in the storm and sand ended up everywhere, not the owners fault but a real waste of money. We swam once on the first day. The villa was clean and well equipped. We cooked, watched Netflix and used the futsal table a lot. The location is perfect, the view is wonderful and we loved Crete. The host was very kind. Thanks "

Historical Stone Made House in a Quiet Peaceful Village With Lovely Garden

"This villa was all that it said and more. The owner left some food items for us until we could get to a grocery store. She was very easy to communicate with and answered all questions promptly. The housecleaner was there every few days to clean and change towels and take trash. It is a beautiful, unique and very comfortable place. We loved it, and would stay there again if we ever get back to Crete. "

"My family's stay at the cottage was wonderful. The home was spacious, clean and mostly comfortable (although the beds were a little bit too firm for my family). The mountain and sea views were fantastic! Herbert was a kind and gracious host and was always available in case we had any concerns. He was delightful to talk to and he has a wealth of knowledge about the area. Although we were on a pre-planned schedule, he was always willing to offer a tour of surrounding areas. All in all, the stay was marvelous and we'd recommend staying there to anyone spending their holiday on Crete!"

"The hotel is new and rooms are large. We had a huge extra balcony space but our room was far from the lobby, pool and restaurants. Everything should get a 4.5 star rating, just like the hotel. It's not 5 star but it's almost. Breakfast has a bunch of options and the view is great. The beach is nice and the staff there always made us feel welcome. It's hard to explain but everything was good, while not being 5 star."
