"Loved that these are historical old town homes. Very charming. Easy walk to a main tram line to get into Old Town in just a few minutes. Mini M&S just by the Haymarket station and a larger full M&S just a few minutes away."

"Overall I was quite happy with our stay at Point A. I’ll start off by saying the staff was wonderful and friendly and helpful. We loved our room and the bed was very comfortable. The location is great. Close to Haymarket and no more than a 15-20 min walk to all that Old & New Town Edinburgh has to offer. My one complaint that prevents me from 5 stars across the board is this. In other hotels I’ve stayed at in the UK, coffee and tea has either been available to hotel guests all day, or there has been a kettle in the room to make tea. After a day of sightseeing I wanted nothing more than to head back to my room and enjoy a cup of tea in front of the telly. Instead, I had to pay for tea in the lobby. Other than that one little thing, I’d stay at this hotel again the next time I’m in Edinburgh."

"This property was wonderful... and the staff, even better! Great location! Would certainly stay here again in the future. My only complaint would be that the room felt a bit warm. I searched the room for a thermostat or way to adjust the temperature, but found nothing. Maybe I just didn't know where to look... haha! But my husband and I were able to crack the window to let in some cooler air. Also, there was a fan provided in the room."
